As someone close to the reality of prison life I can honestly say this programme reflects the harsh reality of today's young imprisoned persons. It's hard, it's often sad, it's disturbing but it's as it is, to the point without any frills.

The production team got the facts spot on, it's hard hitting but it's real. The reality is that many of these young men have committed awful crimes and prison is the only way to protect the public. However, as the programme reflects, prison is not a holiday camp for these young men.
